PattlesStore was a freelance digital services business from 2021-2024 focused on designing and developing custom Discord servers, bots, and community infrastructure.

As a one-man team, I handled the full lifecycle of the business, including product research, client acquisition, branding, sales, operations, and customer support.

Key contributions included:

• Building customer-tailored Discord servers optimized for scalability, security, and usability.

• Conducting market research to identify new service opportunities

• Growing revenue by 180% through referral programs and targeted social media campaigns

• Managing client relationships and consultations for 50+ customers.

• Handling financial reporting, pricing strategy, and business operations.

Over the growth and lifecycle of the business, I learned how to turn leads into long-term clients through outreach, consultation, and consistently high-quality work that ultimately made word-of-mouth my primary source of marketing. I gained experience writing project proposals, defining KPIs, and managing projects from initial planning to delivery.

Running PattlesStore also strengthened my leadership and communication skills. For many clients, I trained moderation teams on community management, de-escalation techniques, Discord moderation workflows, and platform-specific technical tools. In addition, I developed a strong understanding of business fundamentals such as sales strategy, coupons and promotions, CTAs, customer retention, and service positioning.

The business also directly pushed me into software development. To better support client needs and automate workflows, I taught myself Python and JavaScript, which I used to build tools, improve server functionality, and expand the technical services I could offer.

On the technical side, I independently designed and maintained the business website using Wix, while also managing branding, operations, and customer support.
